Active Leeds

Active Leeds offer a 20 week programme of exercise for people at the risk of falls. These ‘strength and balance’ sessions are designed to improve strength, balance and co-ordination for people with low mobility. There is a focus on improving confidence and reducing the fear of falling.

Bellwether Yarns

Bellwether Yarns is owned by local resident Sonja Wood who uses some of our basement space as her yarn dyeing studio.  Her hand-dyed yarns can be bought online at  Alternatively, you can visit her shop in the Corn Exchange in Leeds City Centre, where she also sells a range of commercial yarns, including Stylecraft, West Yorkshire Spinner, Lang, Opal and Schoppel, as well as accessories.

Are you the parent or guardian of a pre-school child who would benefit from some support with communication and/or social understanding?  Our friendly group has spaces for a few more families and a “total communication” approach is used.  

We meet on Monday mornings in term time form 9.15 to 9.50am.  Cost £10 per family.  First session is a free taster session.
